I wasn't sure that we'd even be able to practice this week with Katrina making a passing visit. Look like we will have clear skies for tomorrow. We need to keep the storm victims in our prayers. It's going to take years to recover from this storm.
We have a lot of ground to cover in our first practice. I am still concerned about the kids not having any relief off the bench. That makes a huge difference in games. We may end up playing some teams 3v3 if we don't have enough players show up. I'm planning on practicing scrimmage games with 3v3 so we get used to it. Also, we need to practice using the game quarter time length between breaks. That way we get used to playing a full game without breaks. I hope we can hold up. Some of the teams we will play will be rotating 3 and 4 girls out at a time. I hope we have at least 1 or 2 additional player sign up.
