Practice 10.27

We had a fun practice today. Just 3 more games left in the season. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone ths Saturday. Brooke will be out on Saturday so we'll need all the help we can get. Our game is scheduled for 12:30 on field 5b. Please try to be there at 12:15. We are the visiting team this week so please remember to wear blue.

Thanks to the following for paying me your $15.

Davenport, Pawley, Sutherland and Lansdale.

If you haven't already, plase pay me at the game on Saturday. I'll need to get the trophies ordered for our end-of-year party. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I recieved this note today from Bob Alvey, a JAWS Board member .

Just a reminder that over the next two weeks, JAWS will taking up money from all of the JAWS rec teams and coaches to help purchase Soccer balls to send to children in Iraq. We are asking all players to contribute $1 towards the purchase of the balls. Captain Jonathan Post, who played soccer locally here in High School at JCM is who we are working with over in Iraq. They have already distributed 230 balls to children that the JAWS board donated money for. We have been able to purchse the balls through Wilson and got them at cost. Now we want to give all of rec teams a chance to be involved. He and his fellow soldiers are very appreciate of the soccer balls, and sent back some awesome pictures of their "new friends" holding their soccer balls. JAWS will match up to $500 of the amount given from all of the teams. There is a box at the concession stand to turn the money in, or you can place it in the envelope that will have your evaluation surveys this weekend and turn it in that way.
Please help us support this great cause.

Don't forget the DST ends Saturday night. Set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed.
