Final Game

The last game of the season did not turn out the way we had hoped. We played our best but we just weren't the better team today. We finish with an excellent 5-1-1 record though. I was very proud of how our girls didn't give up. We had several very good shots that just didn't go in for us.
After the game we had our awards party at the Skyline Church Activity Center. Everyone seemed to enjoy the party sub and the pizza. We even had a team cake. I am so proud of how hard our girls have worked this year. I wasn't sure what type of team we'd have but everyone really came together and made a succssful team. Thanks to all of the parents for doing so much to help out with the team, snacks, photos, getting the kids to practice. Thanks for supporting me in so many ways! When you coach any sport, you hear horror stories about certain parents. I always tell anyone who asks that I have always had nothing but the best parents in the world. I can tell that all of you are doing a wonderful job raising your daughters. They are a very special group of young ladies.
