I'm always searching for a bargain, especially on sports equipment. With 4 kids you can't exactly go out and spend a ton on each kid. A few months ago I was shopping at TJ Maxx when I noticed that they had nice Nike, Reebok, and Brine soccer balls. I was even more suprised at the price. Name brand balls as are usiually a bargain at $12 a pop but you can get them at Maxx, Marshall's and Ross for as cheap as $7 a ball! I even saw some at Maxx for as little as $5 a ball. What a buy!
Tonight I was out with my boys at Ross's over by Kohl's. They had Adidas shin guards for as little as $3.99 a pair. I snached up 2 pair for my boys who are staring soccer this Spring. Make sure you check out these stores before you hit the big department stores. You could save allot of money and get quality merchandise in the process.
Also, don't forget to check out Hibbitts over by Target. They have great buys on name brand cleats. They also have goalkeeper gloves, shin guards and balls as well. Check them out when you get a chance. They are cheaper on cleats than many of the online stores.
Also, shop now for the upcoming season. The stores often run out after practices stat in a couple of weeks.
