Academy Playoffs

The Academy Playoffs will start this Thursday at 5:00 at Northpark. In the final standings, the Lady Flyers Blue team is tied with the Lady Flyers Red team down to the 4th tie breaker. To break the tie, we'll do kicks from the penalty mark (per FIFA) to decide the first and second seeds. The first seed team will play the Lady Flyers Purple and the second seed team will play the Lady Flyers Green. The 2 v. 3 seed game will be first, followed by the 1 v. 4 seed game. The winner of each game will meet in the Academy Championship on Saturday May 19.

The Academy Championship will consist of 2 games. The first game will decide the 3rd and 4th place teams. The second game will decide the Academy Champion. The Sylvan Cup will be awarded to the winning team immediatly after the game. We'll have an end of the year party at West Jackson Baptist church after the game. There are several surprises in store so you won't want to miss it. I'll have more details next week.

The Academy Tryouts will be this Saturday at noon. Please encourage anyone you know who is interested in Academy to come to the tryout. We'll also have some fun activities for current players. So please wear your uniform and come out to join us on Saturday at noon.
