The EPL Invasion

Si is reporting that the English Premier League is now looking into holding a regular season game here in the United States. The venue has not been announced but they are looking at cities where weather would not be an issue. Since soccer games are held outdoors on natural turf,that seems to point to either a city in the Southwest or California. As big as soccer is in Southern California, I'd place my bets on Los Angeles. Only time will tell. FC Barcelona and Chelsea have already played pre-season games here. If Arsenal comes, I'll be getting my tickets.
