I just finished the E certification class this past weekend. We started by meeting on Friday night. Then we continued all day on Saturday and all day on Sunday. It was pretty tiring and the cold wind was pretty brutal on Sunday. I don't think the temperature got over the freezing mark. We did learn allot about how to coach soccer though. I'm looking forward to teaching the kids in a more effective manner.
We are still planning on kicking off the pre-season on Sunday, February 11, at 2:00 at Northpark. This will be an orientation meeting for the parents and kids to meet the coaches and for the kids to get to know one another. We will also have some simple drills for the kids to start out with and of course we'll have some time for a scrimmage. If you can't make it, please let me know.
