Have you ever had one of those moments where you would give anything to have a camera handy? I saw a couple of things at the tournament that were just unreal. Sunday I was drving through the parking lot, getting ready to go home, when I saw this soccer uniform. The number on the back looked strange. I couldn't figure it out till I got closer. Then I saw that the number was made with black electrical tape applied to a t-shirt. Now that's what call dedication.
But the funniest thing I saw this past weekend was not even at the park. I was pulling out of Northpark after our Saturday morning game when, I promise you, I saw a 14-15 year old girl walking accross the front of Betty's Lounge. I imagine her coach just needed to pick up a cold one after a tough morning game and she was waiting outside on him. "Only West Tennessee!" I thought. That would have made a great photo.
