In addition to the regular recreational league, JAWS will be offering a Soccer Academy this coming Spring for U-10 boys and girls. The new league will offer a higher level of coaching and competition. All coaches will be licensed wih a USSF "E" certification. There will also be a league champion and each team will have unique uniforms. The cost is only $100. It's basically a travelling team level of competition without having to travel and at a fraction of the cost. I'm planning on getting my license at the clinic in January. I'll coach in the Academy if I'm selected.
If you're interested in participating, the tryouts will take place at Northpark on November 4 on field 4D. You will have 2 sessions to choose from, 9-11AM or 12-2PM. For more information, contact Doug Sena at dougsena@charter.net or check out the JAWS web site.
