Practice 9.02

What a beautiful morning for soccer practice. I didn't think we'd have that many to show up but we ended up with nearly everyone. Thanks to all the parents for bringing the kids out to the field. We didn't get to use the indoor field like we wanted but the weather was great and we got to use the outdoor practice field. Thanks to Coach Pawley for making the arrangements and helping out with the girls today. We worked on our attacking, passing and defense. We also started working on our formation and positions. We still have work to do on our goal keeping but we are making progress.


Next Saturday we'll have our first game. But before then, we'll have one more practice on Thursdayat 4:30. We have a very young team this season but the girls have all worked hard and showed allot of dedication to learning and improving their skills. I'm looking forward to seeing their work pay off in next week's game. Coach Sena always has one of the best teams around so we'll have a tough test with the Stingrays next Saturday.

JCS Fall Break will be October 13-17. St. Mary's will be out October 13-16. I know that several of you may have plans to be out of town that weekend. If you can't make it to the game on Saturday, October 14th, please let me know so I can re-schedule the game.
