Team Photo Day

I spoke with Wayne Holmes this morning about our team photos. We were originallly scheduled to have our photos taken this Saturday. Since we won't be playing this week, we'll have our photos done next Saturday, September 23. I'll pick up the envelopes at the game this weekend and pass them out at next Thursday's practice. Also you'll need to get to the field, 20 minutes before game time so we can get our team photo taken.

Thanks so much for getting to the game and practices on time. Last Saturday, we had plenty of time to setup our team and discuss our strategy. We were able to get off to a quick start and we had a great first half. Thanks also to everyone for getting your kids to practice on time. Our practices are taught in "progressions", meaning that each exercise is built on the fundamentals learned in the previous exercise. We start with the simple and work our way up to complex game situations. Having everyone there at the start makes learning so much easier for the kids because they don't get behind.

If you need me to change the times to accomodate your schedule, please let me know. I like to have practices early so the kids get home in time for supper and homework. If a later time would work better, please let me know.
